Box Draw
The box draw is conducted by the GRNSW following close of nominations. Box draw is typically released Wednesday afternoons following grading and can be found on this website, under racing info tab, or alternatively at



Scratchings procedures at NON TAB venues has changed from August 1, 2014. Full information is available on the GRNSW website (click here) Scratchings for between 8-9am on day of race meeting (Saturday or Sunday only) can be made by calling 0269771950. All other times must be through GRNSW. 

Kenneling & Kennels

A Veterinary surgeon is on duty for all race meetings. The Kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are on one level.

Temora follow GRNSW swabbing procedures and withholds prizemoney greater than $5830 when swabs are undertaken. Prizemoney is paid following clearance of swab sample.


Dress Code

Participants are advised that from August 1, 2015 (inclusive) Temora has a required Dress Code for all race meetings. Handlers must wear a white collared shirt, black pants and if a jumper is worn it must be black. Black enclosed shoes are also required.

Temora GBOTA has one on course bookmaker standing on local events.

Any bookmaker offering odds against a greyhound shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $400 on any one wager.



Under NSW Health legislation, smoking is not permitted in spectator areas nor (from July 6, 2015) within 4 metres of entry to or exit from the licensed venue.  Please speak to staff on course as to designated smoking areas.



There are no EFTPOS facilities at the Temora track.



There are limited camping facilities for travelling trainers, with some kennels available for the greyhounds.

There are also replays of all races available to owners and trainers - ask for Dennis Pettit.
